Longtime New England singer/songwriter Matt York will perform songs and tell stories about the great Willie Nelson, while accompanied by fiddle player Angelica Vendetti. York will focus on Willie’s long and illustrious music career that has spanned over seven decades. He’ll also talk a bit about his recent book The Words and Wisdom of Willie. In both 2022 and 2023, York was nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist and last year, his album, Gently Used, was named one of the top albums by Patriot Ledger.
In both 2022 and 2023 the Boston Music Awards have nominated Matt York as a “Best Country Artist” nominee. His music and story have been featured in the Boston Globe, NPR, Boston Herald and a boatload of other places. He has twice been nominated as “Best Male Artist” by the New England Awards and has received radio airplay and press coverage throughout the world.

General Admission: Seating is first come, first serve. Doors will open around 6:30pm to guests.
Cabaret Tables: To request a cabaret table (for four guests), email info@marionartcenter.org after purchasing your tickets.
Accessibility: There are three small steps plus a raised threshold to enter the Marion Art Center. There are four steps and a handrail at the entrance to the MAC Theater. This show will include fully amplified sound.
Audience: Performances are recommended for a general audience. All guests entering, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
Food and Beverages: There are no concessions for sale. Guests may bring their own beverages or refreshments to enjoy during the show.
