The MAC Theater Playwrights Incubator (MTPI) is pleased to present a new play by emerging playwright Stella Ferra. Ferra is an actor, playwright, director, and dramaturg. She is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she trained at Playwrights Horizons, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and Stonestreet Studios. She hopes to thrive in all aspects of the arts and to have a long, successful, and impactful career in theater. Ferra was selected for the second season of the MTPI program for her new play All the Frozen Ones:

After cryogenically freezing his wife who’s inherited her mother’s degenerative disease, Robert decides to unfreeze her on the eve of his 59th birthday. He is haunted by her illness that led her to be frozen, their now 30 year age gap, and a mysterious knocking sound — What happens when Marian thaws?

Mentors for this year’s MTPI program include John Heavey and Kate Fishman. There will be an informal discussion/Q&A session with the mentors, director, actors, and playwright following each performance.
