Adult Ballet/Jazz
Step out of your routine and into the studio with this graceful and energizing Ballet & Jazz fusion class with the MAC at our partner location at 144 Front Street in Marion, led by instructor Teah Keogh. This 45-minute weekly class is perfect for adults looking to reconnect with movement, creativity, and a sense of joy.

Ballet builds strength, flexibility, and posture through elegant, structured movement, while jazz brings in upbeat rhythms, expressive style, and a whole lot of fun. Together, they offer a balanced workout that nurtures both body and mind. No prior experience is required - just bring your curiosity and a willingness to move! Whether you’re new to dance or returning after years away, this class offers a supportive space to explore, sweat a little, and smile a lot. Wear comfortable dance or athletic clothing, and ballet or jazz shoes if you have them (or go barefoot/socks to start - no pressure)!

Adult Tap Dance
Ready to tap out of “adulting” for a bit? Join the MAC at our partner location at 144 Front Street in Marion, for a lively, fun dance class led by instructor Teah Keogh! This 45 minute class is designed for adults who want to add a little more happiness and a little less seriousness to their week.

Tap dance is a classic American theatrical style that blends percussive footwork with rhythmic precision. In this beginner-level class, you'll develop rhythm, balance, and coordination while exploring your creativity and boosting both physical and mental wellness. Whether you're brand new to tap or dusting off old skills, this is your percussive playtime! This means EVERYONE is welcome; no prior dance experience necessary.

Students may bring their own tap shoes or borrow a gently loved pair from the MAC (available on a first-come, first-served basis for full-session registrants). Comfortable clothing recommended—no stress, just steps and smiles!

Description: In this intro to improv class, students will learn the basics of improv comedy in a supportive and fun environment. You will learn how to create compelling characters and build dynamic scenes with a scene partner using only an audience suggestion. No experience is necessary -- this class is for everyone! Whether you’re looking to unleash your creativity, build confidence, or simply have a blast, this class is your perfect ticket to laughter and fun. Each class will include warm-up, various games and exercises, and exercises that help students use their ideas to create and build strong scenes together. This course runs once a week for six weeks.

Kate Teichman, an Ohio native, received her B.F.A. in Theater from Ohio University. After graduating, she moved to Chicago where she studied improv at iO Chicago and became an ensemble member of the Curious Theater Branch. Since moving to the Northeast, Kate co-founded and operated the improv comedy theater Wage House in Pawtucket, RI. She helped run the Providence Improv Festival as well as create and produce numerous other comedy shows.

She has taught improv to hundreds of students and facilitated many corporate workshops. Her specialties are uncovering what connects us, sparking creative ideas, and developing skills to improve communication and effectively guide you in work interactions and on the stage. She's a member of Rhode Island's longest-running improv troupe, Improv Jones, and collaborates with the folks at Dugway Theatre to make theatrical new work. Kate strives to bring ingenuity and heart, to her work and can’t wait to share the joy of improv with you!

Colin Bradley, Instructor

Exact times and scheduling will be determined with instructor on an individual basis. In case of cancellation, make up dates will be arranged by the instructor.

Description: It's never too late to start! Colin Bradley offers one on one lessons in music, customized to the student's experience and interest. Half-hour lessons will focus on the training of the ear, improvisation, songwriting, and music reading comprehension. Instruments of study include guitar, bass, ukulele, slide guitar, piano, and more. If you are interested in a different instrument please notify the MAC to discuss more options. While some materials are provided, others may need to be purchased separately depending on the student's goals.

About the Instructor: Colin Bradley has been teaching music and performing on the SouthCoast, throughout New England and beyond for over ten years. He has held recitals, helped organize shows, and performed in various acts or for special events in the MAC Theater.
